I am pleased to announce the launch of a new website for use by the EVE Community. Tweveit Connect promises to be a social hub for connecting pod pilots everywhere! Upload avatars, make friends, join and create public or private groups, even create blogs to share your experiences with the interwebs.
Building on the Tweveit brand we hope to create a community of eve players that interact, support, and learn from eachother. Players will come to Tweveit.com to learn about EVE, from there they will come to Tweveit Connect to meet other pod pilots, share ideas, and interact with the community.
We invite you to come check out Tweveit Connect and start meeting and interacting with other players today!

Yeah, you could do that. But, this is a valid option for those of you that are interested in an EVE focused website. --- Keldar Anassi CEO/Founder

Why would anyone do that when you have the official forums?
The forums are great for group discussions, but lack in certain areas that Tweveit Connect excels in. To some of you this may seem pointless, but to many this is a fun viable option to enjoy EVE with like minded individuals.

Originally by: mechtech lol, you have heard about COSMOS right? CCP has a massive social networking sight in the making that will integrate with ingame. (http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=678)
Still a cool site, but it will have a short life...
LOL, yes, I have in fact heard of the cosmos project. I have the intent of integrating with it once it is released. From what ive read and from rumors the api will be expanded and such to accommodate the Cosmos. So If possible Tweveit Connect will connect with Cosmos. But until then Tweveit Connect is a great resourse. |

Originally by: Cors sigh.. More "social networking" sites.
If I want to chat with "like minded people" I'll log into eve and chat with corp/alliance mates.
If I want to see what's up and coming for my corp/alliance, I'll check my alliance/corp forums, or in game alliance mail.
These social networking sites are just a place for people to kill time while at work. It's all well and good.
You obviously have no use for a sie like this. But its available to those who would enjoy a site like this. Also Ive updated the OP with new information on an exciting new service Tweveit Connect is offering...
Blog-Killboard Integration, Thats right, you an now display your latest kills on your blog sidebar through a wonderful widget we now have available on Tweveit Connect!
for more inforamtion log into your Tweveit Connect Account, go to the plugins menu from your blog dashboard and get your killboard stats posted! --- Keldar Anassi Founder Tweveit.com

Dictionary.com definition of twitter]
Even if people didnt like the name twitter, it did at least have a meaning. It describes what the site does. No idea what tweveit is supposed to mean. Other than you snuck the word eve into something thats meant to sound a bit like twitter?
ūverb (used without object) 1.to utter a succession of small, tremulous sounds, as a bird. 2.to talk lightly and rapidly, esp. of trivial matters; chatter. 3.to titter; giggle. 4.to tremble with excitement or the like; be in a flutter. ūverb (used with object) 5.to express or utter by twittering. ūnoun 6.an act of twittering. 7.a twittering sound. 8.a state of tremulous excitement.
The idea of getting video tutorials done is pretty good, but the subject matter has been pretty basic sofar and even for new players does seem rather basic and patronising. Lets face it, if somoene is put off by the user creation being a bit confusing, they arent going to last 5mins playing the actual game.
Maybe some tutorials on industry ect? making t2 or t3 items would be very useful as I always liked the idea of getting into the more complex areas of manufacture and research but found it a little daunting.
I have the intent of moving on to more advanced topics. But I want to create a strong base for which to base the rest of the tutorials on... ie "If you have trouble with this turorial please check out these ones X X X to gain a better understanding of how to complete this tutorial."
But that is a discussion for another topic. This topic is about Tweveit Connect. Please stay on topic. thx :P --- Keldar Anassi Founder Tweveit.com

When I viewed your site, I was presented with a survey which included questions such as would I be prepared to pay to view the site ad-free. You then asked if so how, much, in a real currency (USD). You know where you can stick this, I think.
Again, not the place for this dicussion. But i will address it anyways.
I think it is a valid question. Do you have any idea what video hosting/bandwidth costs? The purpose of those questions was to see if anyone would be intrested in paying a small sum of money, and thus be able to view the site without ads. I no way did I ever intend to make the site only accesible by paying real cash. I was just seeing if it was a viable option for some people, some people like to pay rather than see adverts.
